Italy’s Most Valuable Cheese Stored in a Bank 🧀 🇮🇹

Money and gold isn't the only thing being stored in banks!

The worlds best and most valuable cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano of course) is stored in high tech “cheese banks” and vaults in Emilia-Romagna.

Protected as if it was gold, the Parmigiano Reggiano is stored in climate-controlled safes with cameras, alarms, and top of the line anti-seismic equipment.

One Parmigiano wheel costs up to 400 euros, meaning there are approximately 130 million euros worth of Parmigiano stored in the bank according to Roberto Frignani, the Bank director.
