Northern Italy was hit particularly hard by the Coronavirus outbreak, specifically Emilia Romagna. Emilia Romagna is the center of Parmigiano production in Italy which was massively affected by the crisis. Food Insider’s Claudia Romeo visits Nicola Bertinelli, the president of the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium to understand how the coronavirus affected production and how dairy owners banded together to survive.
