On Sept. 13, Elmwood Park Village President Angelo “Skip” Saviano and the Village of Elmwood Park recognized relator Gabe Caporale on his success in real estate for 50 years. Saviano and the trustees declared 77th Avenue and North Avenue to be named as the “Honorary Gabe Caporale Way.”
Those who work with Gabe feel that he has a wonderful sense of humor and they can expect complete real estate satisfaction.
Gabe Caporale began his career in 1971 at the age of 21 as an agent with DeMoon Realty in Chicago. In 1983, he started Caporale Realty Group in Elmwood Park. He is a member of several civic organizations: member of the Knights of Columbus, past president of the Montclare-Elmwood Park Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Oak Park Area Associations of Realtors, member of the Columbian Club of Chicago, the Lions and Kiwanis Clubs, a retired member of the Elmwood Park Library Board, and a current member of the Plan, Zoning and Development Commission. Gabe is a longtime resident of Elmwood Park.
