INGREDIENTS
- 250 g gnocchi (8.8 ounces)
- 30 g butter (1.06 ounces or about 2 tablespoons)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Chili flakes
- salt
- Parmesan and mozzarella cheese
- Optional: Fresh Herbs: basil or parsley.
DIRECTIONS
- Begin by heating a pan over a medium-high flame. Introduce the butter and the gnocchi, allowing them to sizzle for about 5 minutes, until they are golden and have a crispness.
- Incorporate minced garlic, tomato paste, salt chili, and heavy cream into the pan. Simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing their flavors to melt together.
- Gently sprinkle the crowning jewels of the recipe: Parmesan and Mozzarella over the dish.
- Serve with a final sprinkle of Parmesan (even Mozzarella if you prefer as much cheese as possible!) and garnish with your choice of fresh herbs.
