INGREDIENTS

  • 250 g gnocchi (8.8 ounces)
  • 30 g butter (1.06 ounces or about 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Chili flakes
  • salt 
  • Parmesan and mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: Fresh Herbs: basil or parsley. 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Begin by heating a pan over a medium-high flame. Introduce the butter and the gnocchi, allowing them to sizzle for about 5 minutes, until they are golden and have a crispness. 
  2. Incorporate minced garlic, tomato paste, salt chili, and heavy cream into the pan. Simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing their flavors to melt together. 
  3. Gently sprinkle the crowning jewels of the recipe: Parmesan and Mozzarella over the dish. 
  4. Serve with a final sprinkle of Parmesan (even Mozzarella if you prefer as much cheese as possible!) and garnish with your choice of fresh herbs.
